About the Program

Our Safe Parking Program provides a well-lit church parking lot for women and families living in their vehicles. We offer 24-hour parking, access to restrooms, water, and internet, and a caring community. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly and are open to women from all faith experiences and backgrounds.

How to Sign Up

• Call us for availability at (206)659-9614 or email SafeParking@newportpres.org

• If we have space available, you will be asked to complete our background check form and sign a code of conduct.

• Nightly security patrol

• Well-lit parking spaces

• Bathroom facilities (porta-potty)

• Background checks for all safe parkers.

• Zero-tolerance policy for drugs, alcohol, or violence
