Fun Connections

Join our biking group on Monday mornings at 10:00 a.m. at that day's trailhead, rain or shine, year-round for a preplanned ride!  Paved trails and quiet roads around the Puget Sound region are explored.  Rides normally range from 15 to 20 miles in length and include a stop for coffee and/or lunch.  All ages, abilities and bike styles are welcome!  Organizer changes from month to month, so please contact the church office at office@newportpres.org for current information.

Love hiking? This fun bunch meets every Thursday morning at the Newcastle Safeway parking lot, usually at 9:00 a.m. Trails around the Puget Sound region are explored, sometimes in the Cascades as weather allows.  Hikes are easy to moderate, ranging from 4 to 8 miles in length.  Contact Rob Williams at robglynis@comcast.net for more information, although the organizer might rotate from month to month and location to location.

More on the artsy side? Hop online on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10:00 a.m. to noon via Zoom!  This group includes knitters and other needle crafters, and all are welcome to work on individual projects, exchange project ideas or just visit.  No need to be a crafty person - we knit relationships!   Click here for the Zoom link.  Contact Maureen Crawford at mk_crawford@hotmail.com for further details on how to join.

Grace Circle meets September through May, on the Fourth Mondays @ 10:00 a.m., sometimes on Zoom, sometimes in homes when possible.  New members very welcome!
