Newport follows the Presbyterian form of governance. We participate in the Seattle Presbytery, within the national PCUSA in Louisville, KY. According to our Book of Order, ordained Elders from the congregation make decisions at monthly Session meetings and convene committee meetings as listed below. Ordained Deacons from the congregation provide care for our members wihin our ministry units.

Stewardship & Finance: Betty Meyer and Phil Hunter.
Mission & Peacemaking: Rob Sargent, Martha Schroder, and Samantha Kunkel.
