Children in Worship
At Newport we value and encourage children to be full
participants in worship. We believe children learn to worship by
worshipping. We also acknowledge that some of our younger children
may need the opportunity to move a little more freely and to change
settings. Therefore we offer Children's Worship for children ages 3
through 3rd grade. During this time the children will continue with
worship, learning about the same scripture for the day and becoming
familiar with ongoing and regular parts of the sanctuary worship to
give them confidence in participating as they become able. Nursery
care is always available for children through age 2.
