Newport Presbyterian Church

Sunday evenings feature programming for 6th through 12th grade youth. The Mid Highs (grades 6th through 8th) meet from 4:30 to 6:00 in the youth room, which is located on the lower floor of the church. Dinner for all ages is served from 6:00 to 6:15, followed by M.A.D. (Music And Drama) for both Mid and Sr. High's from 6:15 to 7:00. The Senior Highs (grades 9th through 12th) meet from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the youth room. Please join us for fun, games, fellowship, mission service and God!

Each fall, the Mid Highs go on a mini weekend Deputation trip to Sound View Camp, located on Key Peninsula, to help clean up and prepare for the winter.

Each summer, the Sr. Highs go on a 10 day Deputation trip. We alternate between a local area community in the Pacific Northwest, and a community farther away. Our most recent trip in the summer of 2009 was to Chicago, Illinois. Past trips have gone to Bandon, Oregon, and Juarez, Mexico. Typical service activities involve teaching VBS to local children, landscaping projects, works projects for non-profits, projects for shut-ins, and feeding the homeless.
